Our core specialism — complex shapes in sand moulds at economical cost

Sand casting is the most widely used method in the world for producing metal castings. Its fundamental advantage is that it produces complex shapes that are difficult or impossible to machine from solid, at a tooling cost suitable even for small and medium quantities — because the sand mould is renewed for each pour while the pattern itself is used many times. In our factory it is the backbone of every production line, executed for all the material families we cast.

What the service includes

•Preparing the sand mould from a wooden or metal pattern (we make it in-house if you do not have one)
•Casting all our materials: ductile, grey and chrome iron, carbon and manganese steel, stainless, copper and aluminium
•Cutting, fettling and grinding the casting after pouring
•Machining to final dimensions on request

When it is the right choice

•A complex part or internal cavities that are hard to machine from stock
•Small or medium quantities that do not justify the tooling of other casting methods
•Spare parts for existing equipment — from an engineering drawing or from the sample itself
•Varied weights and sizes on the same production line
